To be very frank ‘Unexpected’ is the first word that comes to my mind when I think or talk about Qubitos..Before visiting them and so many other places in the vicinity I thought this will too be just like any other cafe in town but what surprised me the most was look and feel of the place. This is for sure one of the best terrace cafe in Rajouri Garden and is laid in indoor and outdoor section with minimal but elegant decor. Lots of places that you see or visit will have a separate rooftop seating with an outdoor section given the preference but this place is only on the terrace and it beautifully depicts the cafe culture. From the live kitchen to the eye catchy interiors everything here seems remarkable and the dim lighting adds to the overall idealistic aura of the place.

Breathing fresh and eating delicious in the arms of nature, under the stars with your your loved ones is a dream of every individual.. Candle lit tables on a perfect evening is sure to win you and your partner’s heart. Isn’t it…! They have for sure made the best efforts to make Qubitos a romantic, cool, and a happy going place for the people who love to enjoy the personal time, sweet and open area with their loved ones. And I am happy to say that this place gives the pleasure of such special and personal time. It’s a known fact that people not only gets back to a particular restaurant or cafe for its hospitality, food and service but also for its amazing, comfortable ambiance and atmosphere. Therefore, creating this kind of ambience with simple designing was vital, for a well balanced and harmonized look. So this place gets a 4.5/5 from me because of the way this is designed.

Expectations take a new high when ambiance wins your heart and you are almost certain the food and service won’t disappoint too much. So having this thought I sat back and grabbed the best seat to enjoy probably a meal which will go along with me. Since the weather supported my evening I planned to start it with a glass of red wine and then the food followed..

Veg Tilla Kebab: Crispy from the outside and served in a tilla, they were just a treat to start the evening with. Keep dipping the kebabs in the chutney served with this and you sure will love each bite of it.

Stuffed mushroom caps: These mushrooms, stuffed with chopped green onion, bell pepper, bread crumbs and Italian seasoning make a delicious bite of Italian-inspired flavours that compliment any evening. This was cheesy, crunchy and lip smacking. A delight for the vegetarians.

Butter chicken spring roll: This was presented to us in shot glasses. Cigar rolls wrapped with chicken filling and sauce on the bottom. The sauce I guess could have been cooked a little more to enhance the flavour. The rolls though were not too bad.

Hummus bil Lamhe: If there is one thing I am coming back to them for than this surely is it. Oh my love for Hummus just goes ahead with this beautiful dish. Finely chopped lean lamb gets a rub of paprika, allspice, turmeric, rosemary, roses, cinnamon, and cumin, then is quickly seared in a hot pan, doused in lemon juice, and laid on top of the bed of creamy hummus. I can feel your mouth watering. You can have this as a part of mezza or alone as a fulfilling, comfort meal with loads of warm Arabic bread.

Malai chicken Tikka: This simple dish can became your favourite if prepared well. Just like a good poem should have literary devices, word choice, and poetic structure same I guess is with this. If the chicken tikka has the perfect marinate and cooked right you will love every bite of it and to my surprise this dish had that in it. Wow I still haven’t gotten over this.

From ambiance to food and now to the service. Top notch without a doubt, the manager takes pretty good care of the patrons and the servers are always up and running. No mess, no fuss and everything sorted really well.

Would you not want to be a part of this experience, I am sure you would want to.. So why wait, head now to Qubitos and enjoy the perfect view from that terrace.

Happy eating 🙂
